A victim reported that their trust wallet was compromised, and someone stole 603,768  tokens of a new cryptocurrency called Chronoly (CRNO) from their wallet. The USD Value at the time of the theft was approximately $21,000. The victim advised that he purchased the Chronoly tokens using a Decentralized Exchange but could not remember which one. The victim reported that the theft occurred on 2023-03-13 15:06:23.

Based on the information provided, answer the following questions.

Using an advanced analytical tool, find the 2023-03-13 15:06:23 transaction.

Note: CT PRO - Start by Using the DEX Feature.

  1. Identify the name of the DEX that was used.
     
  2. Identify the transaction hash (CT PRO - In the DEX Feature, scroll to the far right)
     
  3. Identify the number of individual transactions involved with the transaction hash.
     
  4. Why are there so many individual transactions?
     
  5. Why was Wrapped ETH Used?
     
  6. Identify the Suspect Wallet Address that the funds were transferred to (CT PRO - Use Tracer, set date filter of March 13-18, 2023, and locate the 2023-03-13 15:06:23. Trace the stolen CRNO tokens and be sure to include the DEX Swap on the chart.
     
  7. Continue to trace the address until you identify a possible exchange used by the suspect to liquidate the stolen cryptocurrency.  Document the name of the Exchange. (CT PRO - MAKE SURE TO REVIEW CEX TAB. IF NO EXCHANGE LISTED, TRACE ONE ADDITIONAL HOP)
     
  8. Document the last four of the transaction hash, the suspect address, and the exchange deposit address that you would use to prepare a Letterhead Memo to the exchange for account information.
